Message from John Griffiths, Chairman
I was fortunate to be elected Chair at the recent AGM, and thank you for your trust in me to do this role for the club.
Since joining the club three years ago I have been continually impressed with the way the club has been run, in particular:
· * the maintenance of the courts and clubhouse
· * the organisation of club sessions, competitions and events
· * the handling of membership requests and finances
· * the training sessions on offer, and
· * the regular website updates
As we start the new membership year I will ensure these fine efforts by the committee and club members continue.
FHLTC is your club though, and I would be very interested in hearing your thoughts on how the club is run and what the club offers. If you have any questions or suggestions then please contact me any time. I will respond to all correspondence and I will bring all appropriate ideas to the committee meetings for consideration. Better still, it would be great to discuss things in person at one of the club events, and you can usually find me at the club during the senior sessions on Sunday mornings.
In the next few weeks please look out for updates in the clubhouse and on the club website
FHLTC is a friendly, well managed club and a valuable asset to the village. I look forward to contributing to the successful running of the club and to overseeing any changes to improve the club facilities.
