Playing Tennis At Flackwell Heath Playing could not be more simple, the club has divided the court time between all the categories, in the club. The times are displayed on the main notice board and in the clubhouse and can be seen here. The club sessions for seniors are Sunday mornings, and Wednesday afternoon/ evening with the times adjusted to suit the time of year. At these times we welcome any players to join us; the games are social but the tennis has a competitive edge. Members can book a court and set up their own games at any time as the courts are normally vacant during the week. We have an annual club competition which covers ,singles and doubles in all age ranges. On several Sundays we hold an American tournament purely for club members which lasts for about 2.5 hours. We hold open men only and ladies only American tournaments during the week and these use a seeding system to ensure all games are close and enjoyable, On every Thursday 10 o’clock we open the courts for anyone who wishes to play, this has proved very successful for people who are returning to the game , and some who are fit and playing for the first time.
